How do you use hybrid clubs in golf?

I have a 5/27 degree club. What does that mean, and when would I use it?
I am a new golfer, and I don’t know where to use the 5/27 degree hybrid club. Take into consideration I am a female, so I don’t hit as far.

It has the same loft as a 5 iron. So use it from the same distance as your normal 5-iron.

I am trying to get into golf now that I have more time away from work and some money to afford new clubs and green fees. I played in the past, but not even close to good. Just played because it was fun. Now, I am going to take lessons and try to become reasonably good, so I want to get clubs that will be good to learn with, but also be clubs that I will have for a few years. My bro-in-law recommended the new Callaway Clubs, so any info on those clubs would be greatly appreciated, or any ideas for my club selection would also be greatly appreciated!

You probably can’t go wrong with Callaways but I wouldn’t spend that kind of money. Look on ebay or callawaygolfpreowned for a used set. I bought a set of X18s used and they were in great condition(couldn’t tell the difference from new). Go for a forgiving set of irons, ones with bigger offset and bigger heads. I guess X20s X16s and X18s fall into that category. They’re very good clubs and are easy to hit. Mishits still go pretty good distances.

Get a higher lofted driver and some fairway woods. I like the Callaway X or X Hot fairway woods. I think they are one of the better woods on the market today. I would also look at the Cleveland HiBore.

I have an in to out backswing, with the club across the line at the top my backswing.

OK here are some tips: make certain there are no extremes in your set up to do this your feet shoulders and hips hould be aligned or very close this influences your swing about 80%.

Always make sure you weight is even on both feet this will ensure no slumping of the shoulders that will throw off your swing my a large degree.

Keep your grip firm yet relaxed to promote a full release of the club almost as if you were going to throw the club down the fairway.

Stand up tall and relaxed bend over slightly and slightly bend your knees this should allow your swing to be upright and not flat but be carefu lnot to stand up to tall or you will get to steep.

Always commit to your shot 60% of all bad shot are because of being tenitive go for it and follow through.

My number one tip is to stay centered on all shots the goal in golf is to return the club to the ball the same way you set up to it, be a golfing machine stay cenetered turn back and finish facing your target easy.

What brands of golf clubs would you suggest for a person who prefers Ram Golf brand golf clubs?

I have had some FX 2 clubs a while back, but it seems that Ram Golf Clubs are becoming more and more scarce stateside. What alternative brands would you suggest that have a similar feel?

I know there are Ram LX 400 irons available on Amazon, also Wilson Ultra, Top Flite, Wilson Staff are some of the less expensive sets, if that’s what you’re looking for.
