Do the pros use hybrid golf clubs?

Well, do they?

I’ve seen alot of hype about them, but do pro golfers choose to use them? or are they not allowed?

I have seen some pros use them. Don’t forget, hybrids were created for those of us who cannot hit long irons and cannot really hit fairway woods. The pros are Pros because generally they can do both. So its not as necessary for them to use one.

I have seen it more on the LPGA and Champions tour and some on the Nationwide Tour, than the PGA Tour. Probably because the PGA Tour guys who you see on TV are generally longer hitters, and dont need to use them.

OK here are some tips: make certain there are no extremes in your set up to do this your feet shoulders and hips hould be aligned or very close this influences your swing about 80%.

Always make sure you weight is even on both feet this will ensure no slumping of the shoulders that will throw off your swing my a large degree.

Keep your grip firm yet relaxed to promote a full release of the club almost as if you were going to throw the club down the fairway.

Stand up tall and relaxed bend over slightly and slightly bend your knees this should allow your swing to be upright and not flat but be carefu lnot to stand up to tall or you will get to steep.

Always commit to your shot 60% of all bad shot are because of being tenitive go for it and follow through.

My number one tip is to stay centered on all shots the goal in golf is to return the club to the ball the same way you set up to it, be a golfing machine stay cenetered turn back and finish facing your target easy.

Why do golfers here ask for golf tips?

They are much better off paying for a PGA pro to give them a lesson. Tips don’t work as they are too general and they are better off going to a pro. Any thoughts?

I agree with you. In probably 90% of my answers in the golf section I say… go get a lesson from a pro. We don’t know there swing — they could be describing it wrong.. we could be telling them the wrong thing. Its too hard to give someone tips over the internet when 1/2 the time, they don’t understand what you are telling them to do. So many people just ask a buddy for some tips instead of going and asking someone who does that for a living and making their golf game better. Like my friend had me over, showed me her swing and asked me what she should do to improve it. She thinks I should know because I have two cousins who are PGA Pros and an uncle on Tour. I just wrote down my cousins phone number and told her to call him. It bugs me so much that people try to improve there game by just asking other golfers. Good Question!

Me and my dad are going to get into golf and are not very good and need some help.

here are a couple of on-line tips to read or view.
I am picking up golf this year and bettered my game by getting DVDs and books from the local library.
Also, I get out to practise putting areas and ask tips from other golfers near there

Golf tips to help stay down on the golf swing?

Hit beautiful shots WHEN I can watch the ball through impact. But that is getting to be a problem. Any tips and tricks. Did not use to be a problem but the last few years it is ongoing.

Truly, the best idea, is to ask a golf proffesional at your nearest driving range. There, you can ask as many questions as you want, and the instructor will guide you throughout your swing. It makes it alot easier than reading other peoples ideas because you dont know truly that you are making the perfect swing. I hope your game improves!
